BAD QUALITY OF SERVICE

I've been an ACT customer for 6 months now. My main problem is loss of connectivity whenever there is a power cut. Despite numerous complaints, this is never solved. The ticket is promptly closed within 24 hours no matter the problem is solved or not. Somehow, providing batter backup to their switch is proving more difficult than I can imagine. I raised 8 tickets in December, and all closed in 24 hours - but real problem still remains now...in April. I am looking for a new service provider now. ...

Am not aware of other areas in Bangalore, but sure if you are living in and around Whitefield (Immadihalli, HopeFarm, Borewell Road) then please avoid ACT Broadband. They provide good speed but connectivity is not at all reliable. Every other day they put their servers into Unscheduled maintenance and takes minimum 24 hrs to restore service.
