Speed test measures upload speed, download speed, ping and jitter between your computer/device and a test server using your internet connection.
Ping test measures the response time in milliseconds (ms) of a request sent to test server. The lower the ping time better the connection responsiveness. A faster ping is desirable for time sensitive applications like gaming and stock market.
Jitter is fluctuation of ping time (latency) over time. Ideally Jitter should be below 30ms.
